After returning from a second hiatus, I learned that one of the top contributors to the DCUO community, Mr. Obsidian Chill, is hanging up his proverbial cape. A long time content creator and steadfast member of the DCUO community, he was a wealth of knowledge regarding powers, skills sets, and a lot more (as you can see from my sidebar). Not sure if he'll return, but I think it is safe to say we all appreciated his vast quantity of contributions to the DCUO community. Fair winds and following seas to you!
Making a few updates to the blog - lots have changed in DCUO, some better, some not so great. More on those, and an FYI - I'll be posting more spicy super pix on the blog, so please be aware! More writing (and skin) to come!
After a hiatus, I've decided to shift a bit more of a focus on two of my preferred metaheros... PowerGirl and Starfire. Great characters who has been woefully poorly written over the years, I'm hoping to do a little bit of background work on them, as well as adding new DC Universe Online content.
Power Girl is known for a few... notable assets aside from her powers and background. I will occasionally incorporate some intriguing graphics, so please be aware there may be some eye-catching images on the blog. Nonetheless, thanks for stopping by while I re-work this little corner of the internet!
Took a dive into munitions discovered I really liked it! Thus, I'm still working on the best combination for munitions, but I've listed some guides below... the ones directly below are newer (as of February 2024), and the ones below the Major, are older, but extensive guides...
Never really considered muni as a power, but after the free CR skip for '24, I tried it and discovered it was a lot of fun. Certainly worth considering a change if you're looking for an alternative controller that provides good damage.
One last note... I'll be shifting from the NSFW to simple T&A, but no nudity on the blog. Just a personal decision, but I'll still be adding saucy girls
Well, I've slacked off quite a bit over the past few years, so I decided I'm going to refresh the blog, add more (and updated) power guides, and add saucier bimbos, with more boobs and general nudity and some "captured" heroines and villainesses pix as well...
Bets of intentions with upgrades, but for now I'm leaving a review by two hot girl-on-girls reviewing DCUO for 2024. Do enjoy and look for upgrades to the blog!
Back from an absence and of course... dealing with computer issues... but wanted to add a post on the newest Noir chroma... via Obsidian Chill and Multiverse.
Seems a bit overpriced (imo), but it isn't a bad looking chroma. That.. along with the Black Friday sale is currently taking place. Not as great a sale as in years past, but still worth keeping an eye on, especially with tomorrow (Monday, 11/27/23) being CyberMonday, there may be some one-time deals. So hold onto to your cash, at least until tomorrow, then spend like crazy!
One of my top three favorite seasonals landed earlier this week (the others being the Summer and the Halloween seasonals), the DCUO Valentine's Day Event is a particularly enjoyable one, with a number of new items this year, including the really neat "Wet Paint" material! I've posted a few videos below to help get started - see you inworld!
Busy not just upgrading my toons in-world, but updating the reviews of powersets. That being said, I'm adding a holding post of the most popular chevage in the DCUO - Power Girl's "Boob Window", and the history behind it. More to come, and I'll see you in-world!
Back to posting powerset updates, starting with one of my favorites, Quantum! Visually outstanding, though some tend to malign the powerset, it is still a great power to have on a toon (imo). That being said, take a look a the guides below, and hopefully there will be a few new loadouts that can help you...
Welp, it's time to get back to the DCUO posting and more! I've let the blog go to seed for a bit while dealing with some RL things, but I'm back to posting and writing. I'll be back with more updates, revamped power sets, and more!
In the mean-time, I'm in-world working on a few new things, leveling up some alts, and seeing if I can make some headway in the new episode dropped last week. More to come, will see you in-world!
It has been a while since there has been good news coming from the DCUO and I am honestly surprised it is happening! The new CEO of WB-Discovery, the amazing David Zaslav, has taken a brutal axe to the woke Supergirl move and cutting it from the DCUO reality. The amazing Ethan Van Scriver describes the details on his YouTube channel ComicArtistPro Secrets!
Additionally, I wanted to highlight some of the amazing YouTube channels that have over the longest time resisted the scourge of "woke" comics / propaganda. Mr. Van Scriver used to work for DC Comics, and honestly, I'd recommend visiting his channel for the full story as to why he went independent and is a successful comic author! Do pay his channel a visit, enjoy his posts, and I'll see you later on with more DCUO goodness!
A bit late, as the event started a week ago, but I got busy playing it, etc, etc... Still, I'm back to posting more stuff, and have plenty more entries to come!
An overview of the DCUO Summer Vendor and Styles by Multiverse!
One of the things I liked the most about the new Dark Knights is the Death Metal Guitar! Cool looking back item (though a bit oversized, imo), but great if you want to have that Heavy Metal Hero (or Villain) look. I've added a couple of guides below to help you get your own axe...
Over the past few months, I've been playing other powersets (that aren't Tanking sets), and have had a blast doing so. One that I've been particularly enjoying is the munitions powerset. It's versatile, can inflict good damage if played correctly, and has some great explosions!
(Greg Deluca's Muni Guide)
Bomb Queen giving the finger! (unattributed)
As part of this powerset guides, I've included guides by Greg Deluca, Obsidian Chill, Sensei Chad, and The Only Gen, so do take a look at the different loadouts and use (or mix & match) what works for you!
Sooo... who is the Bomb Queen? Well, she's a super-villain that specializes in using using bombs and blowing people up! She's not a Marvel or DC character, but independently published by Image Comics. She shows a lot more skin than costume (there are some costumes with even less material), and is a lot more libertine that other villains (yeah, she really into some saucy stuff). Also, the damage and injuries are a bit more realistic and graphic - some may find this disturbing, but a nice change from the sanitary "mainstream" comics". The Bomb Queen is conflicted, but she's evil and enjoys it thoroughly.
You may have not read any of her comics, so you can go here to read them in detail. The first set of adventures were outstanding, the middle set was pretty good, but they eventually ended the series, then tried to bring it back with, well... not a very good "future" story line.
(The Only Gen's Muni Guide)
I'd certainly recommend a good read of her comics followed by a switch to the munitions power set to get started. Hoped you liked the quick overview and see you in world!
Taking a break after the Valentine and St. Patrick's Day events, so I figured I'd add a quick entry to the DCUO Power Guides, specifically the Fire Powerset. One of my favorites to play, it is actually pretty easy (only Ice is easier, imo).
Obsidian Chill's In-Depth Fire Powerset Review - A "must read"!
As Fire is my powerset, I'm always experimenting with it, trying to maximize combinations that provide the maximum damage for whatever situation I'm fighting. I prefer to DPS, but as I said earlier, Tanking is pretty easy - just watch your health when you're doing that.
As one of the "free" powers, I'd certainly recommend it as a fun starter power. After a bit you may look at changing, but for me it provides a good combination of melee and ranged loadout that is fun to run.
Another Obsidian Chill Fire Guide!
As you might have guessed, Star asked if I'd add her as the "Poster Girl" for this power set. With brains, beauty, and brawn (and saucy, depending on the version you're following), she's a blast to be with (figuratively, not literally). Heck, the last time I saw her, we had a great time together!
We all had a good time - we meaning the Titans without Robin, who had an attitude and went crying to the Batcave about something. Cyborg, Beast Boy, Star, and Raven (for a while) played cards, watched TV, and I did my usual mixology magic, with Star showing me a few new twists - and the only one who could keep up with my drinking - great gal!
iEddy Gaming's Guide to his Fire DPS Loadout & Rotation
(2021/2022)
One of the things that most guys like about her, aside from her sense of humor, is the fact her costumes tend to be on the skimpier side... when she's actually wearing something. I haven't see her "au-natural" myself, but a good source (ok, I'm ratting you out, Beast Boy), told me she sometimes just walks around semi-dressed around the Titan's Tower. That tends to piss off Robin, but to quote BB, "Who cares! What's he going to do about it? Throw a batarang at you? If it's her planet's custom to walk around naked, I don't want to offend her!"... followed by snickering (lol)!
He said she's often just lounging around if she's not doing something on Titan's island, so if you ever happen to make it to the island, don't be surprised at what you see (or don't see... her wearing) while she's relaxing by the pool.
DCUO: Fire's Mass Detonation and Fireburst OP!,
by Darkwraith Knight
Well... it looks like Star is calling and sent this pix (below)... something about checking out my staff, so I'm sure she means my "Staff of Lucifer" (HEH)! I can't keep a lady waiting, so I gotta go, and I'll catch up with you all later!
Hello and goodbye to my hiatus! I'm reviving the blog (along with some spicy content), so I'm going to dive into the first new powerset review, Mental!
DCUO: Mental Update In-Depth Guide 2021
In my opinion, it is an average power to use - good power-uses graphics, a wide selection of options of powers, and fun to play. I've seen it in play a few times, but its not currenlty an overly common power.
Today's meta-powered villiness is Selene Gallio, otherwise known as the legendary Black Queen, from the Hellfire club. Not only is she a powerful mentalist with super-strength, teleportation abilities, and other amazing powers, but she is blazingly hot. Always willing to show off her goods in pseudo-SM attire, she also sports a whip - not that she really needs it.
DCUO - Mental DPS Loadout and Rotation 2021, by iEddy Gaming
She's immortal and uses sorcery... well after I read the Marvel Database about her, she really seems over-powered - so a good nemesis, but a boring main, I'd say. Still, it'd be interesting to see more of her (both in stories and... in graphics).
So, if you're looking for some good loadouts, please pass an eye over the listed guides, try some others in-world, and maybe even tweak a few of your own! More loadouts and updates to come, so stay tuned!
Just a quick update - iEddy gaming has a vast quantity of work I'll be posting soon, but for now I'm adding his mid-range Fire DPS loadout. Hope it helps, and see you in-world!
Well, time to head back to DCUO - its the summer event, one of my favorites (along with the Halloween event). Only one day left, and lots of sand dollars to grind for... until next time!
I know its been a while since I've posted, but I'm looking to return to some basic updates, including the new powerset I'm using, water. Once you get the hang of it, its a fun time, and it seems like there are a ton of effective variant loadouts for it as well.
I've added RealGamingS's really nice loadout for both single melee and ranged target for the Water powerset. Well, back to gaming, so catch up with you later on!
